Ordering
To purchase an item use the ‘Add to basket’ button to proceed to checkout. Please check sizing and colours before completing an order to minimise the need for order amendments. Orders may only be amended or cancelled before despatch. Cancellations may incur a £5 restocking and administration charge. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or amend an order for any reason.
Payment
We accept credit and debit card payments through Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal Account.
Postage / Delivery
We will endeavour to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. Orders that are received before 1pm that are in stock will be dispatched the following day by standard royal mail. Customers Accounts will be updated as the order is picked, packed and dispatched. If any items on an order are not in stock the customer will be notified by e-mail and have no obligation to continue with the order.
You are also welcome to collect orders from Little World at 6 Maygate, Dunfermline, Fife, KY12 7NH. If you want to use this option then please select the Collect from shop option from the Deliver to drop down menu in the Shopping basket. You will then need to create a 'shop' address option. To do this please add your name complete the following fields with ’shop’ Address, County and Postcode and select ’Collect from shop’ as the delivery area. There will be no p&p charge for this service and you will be emailed when the order is ready. Please print off your order confirmation and take it with you for collection. UK Mainland postage
Postage and Carriage is charged at £3.95 for any orders less than £30.
All orders over £30 are delivered to mainland UK free of charge
If you require delivery to Highlands and Islands then please e-mail us your postcode for a specific quote. Delivery to European countries is £7.99.
If you are in a hurry for you items then we can use express or next day delivery, please e-mail or call us with your specific requirements for a quote.
Products and descriptions
We aim to be as accurate as possible with product description, however from time to time there may be slight variations in colour and general appearance. If these variations are not acceptable to the customer they have the right to follow the returns procedure.
Prices are correct at the time of publications however we reserve the right to check prices at order confirmation. Prices may vary if VAT or duty rates change.
We reserve the right to alter prices at any time, once orders are confirmed the prices are final even if they change on the website.
Returns
You have the right to cancel an order until it is dispatched, however you may incur a £5 restocking and administration charge. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order for any reason.
Please contact us by e-mail at returns@littleworldonline.co.uk so that we can try to resolve any issues before items are returned. We offer a money back no quibble returns policy, providing items are unused and returned in their original packaging fit for resale. Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt of order. Customer must pay return postage and once items are received and checked back into stock a full refund will be issued excluding postage (this also applies to free postage transactions) . Customers are asked to obtain proof of posting when returning an item as we can not be held responsible for packages lost in transit. If you do not contact us to express your wish to return an item within 14 days of receipt then we will take this to mean you are satisfied with your order.
Privacy
We will comply with all UK laws governing the protection of your personal details and information.
All credit/debit card transactions will be carried out via a secure server with the assistance of a reputable online payment company.
Your details will not be passed on to any other companies but we will retain them on our database to allow us to send you special promotions from time to time.
